Peregrino
Terms of Use
Effective
In short: share only what is yours to share, and nothing sexual, hateful, violent or harassing. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: anything reported is looked at, links that break these rules are taken down, and the accounts that make them are blocked from sharing.
These terms are between you and Michael Kimberly Svrcek ("we", "us"), who makes the Peregrino app for iPhone, iPad and Mac ("Peregrino", "the app") and the website peregrino.mksvrcek.com. Your use of the app is licensed under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add the rules for what you share with other people. By sharing from Peregrino you agree to them.
What you share
Peregrino lets you share your travels in three ways:
- Public links. A trip, stay, ticket, event or place, with your name as the sharer and, if you include it, your profile picture. Anyone who has the link can open it, in the app or on the website without the app.
- Shared trips. A trip shared through iCloud with the people you invite, to see it or to edit it with you.
- Friends. Your traveller card (your name, profile picture, stamps and trophies), shared with the friends you add.
You are responsible for what you share, and for what you add to a trip someone has shared with you. A public link can be seen by anyone it reaches.
Share only what you have the right to share. You keep whatever rights you have in it; you give us only the permission needed to store it in iCloud and show it to the people you share it with, for as long as you share it.
What isn't allowed
Don't share, in a link, a shared trip, your name or picture, or anything in them:
- sexual content or nudity, and anything that sexualises a minor;
- content that is hateful or that attacks people for who they are;
- harassment, bullying, threats, or anything that encourages violence or self-harm;
- someone else's private information, such as where they live or are staying, or pictures of people shared to embarrass or hurt them;
- spam, scams, or links made to mislead, including pretending to be someone else or an official account, such as an airline's or a hotel's;
- anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights, such as their photos passed off as yours.
The same rules apply to a name you put on the leaderboards of the games on this website.
Reports, removal and blocking
- Report. Anyone who opens a public link in the app can report it there, and anyone can report something by email (below). We look at every report and act on it within 24 hours.
- Removal. We take down links that break these rules, and may do so without notice. We also take off leaderboard names that break them.
- Blocking. An account that breaks these rules, or keeps sharing things that are reported, is blocked from sharing links with anyone. We may also end the links it has out.
- Stop sharing. You can stop any link or shared trip in the app at any time; stopping it deletes its shared copy.
Frequent Flyer Gold
Frequent Flyer Gold is a one-time purchase made through the App Store, under Apple's terms. You can restore it on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update them here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
